Pre bereavement support

Provide counseling to pet parents when a terminal diagnosis is given. This is such a difficult time that brings upon a grief response. I can help process those feelings and bring extra support. I can also provide education on what to expect as your sweet pet shows decline.

Grief Counseling

When your beloved pet passes, I can be there to help you move through the grief process.

After Care

I am available for as long as needed afterward to provide support and can help coordinate a celebration of life, if requested.

Cost

$100 for three counseling sessions and unlimited phone contact. Currently accepting cash or checks.

I have been working as a social worker for 30 years and have been a hospice social worker for most of the last 8 years. I have always been an animal lover – grew up with a beagle, then there were the newts in college, Guinea pig during grad school and a cat guardian for the last 28 years! I have realized that grief is grief- Whether it’s for a human or an animal. We all can benefit from extra support as we go through grief of a loved one. Please allow me to assist in your healing.
